Georgia May Jagger seems to have been at the forefront of the fashion media this year. Brought to the attention of the public when she did the Rimmel ads, she’s been successful ever since. With her killer pout, doe eyes and long golden locks she has been likened to the 60’s screen siren Brigitte Bardot and I can see why. It’s amazing that she’s only eighteen years old as she oozes sex appeal and sophistication. Many people have criticised Georgia for her unique gap toothed smile. In my opinion, people need to start embracing all types of beauty. What’s the fun in looking perfect? It is a person’s flaws and individualities that make them beautiful, and Georgia is certainly beautiful.
Flicking through the January issue of Vogue I came across her and the actor Henry Hopper in the shoot “All This and Heaven Too” and I wasn’t disappointed. Photographed by Alasdair McLellan the images were breathtaking and really took me away to another world. They also increased my longing to go somewhere hot and sunny instead of having to endure this terrible English wintry weather.
Regardless, Georgia is certainly making a name for herself as a professional model rather than just the daughter of a Rolling Stone. With her being announced as the new face of Chanel and Hudson and two Vogue covers already under her belt, she’s certainly not off to a bad start.
